Dr. Bjørn Kvamme, from the University of Bergen, Norway, has joined Strategic Carbon llc as Strategic Advisor, International Energy Development. This development at Strategic Carbon provides in-depth capability for methane and carbon dioxide hydrate thermodynamic, non-equilibrium and statistical thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and molecular simulations. Dr. Kvamme’s extensive global experience and expertise provides Strategic Carbon strong capability in modelling long-term carbon storage and assessment of coastal sediment gas hydrate loading and stability. This focus will be applied to coastal slope and platform security.
