In a collaborative agreement lead by Mark Law at CoaCtus LLC the patented Harmonic Frequency Cascade (HFC) creates diverse opportunities related to water recovery and volume reduction, specifically; 1) reduces volume in accumulation ponds; 2) supports farming, cooling for database, fracking, and human consumption, and 3) removes organic matter and metals. HFC requires, small space, is easily transported, low energy and provides significant cost savings.
HFC is cylindrical housing operating via two counter rotating cylinders with a high surface area that creates fluid shear. Shear forcing forms microscale bursting bubbles and oxygen free radical formation which result in degradation of organic compounds to CO2. With high CO2 concentrations carbonate and metal precipitate. HFC has been successfully applied to organic rich lake, sewage, frack, and mining water. With thorough testing we have observed removal of anthropogenic compounds by 50%-75%, concentrations below TCEQ environmental acceptance level.
With thorough proof of concept complete, application of this system is being contracted for: 1) reuse of cooling water applied to nuclear plant operations; 2) water recycling for oil fracking operations; 3) desalination and minerals recovery for brine water in the Texas midland with a primary focus on agriculture recovery; 4) provision of higher quality water for military operation in remote locations and at bases; 5) treatment of city sewage plant water for clean disposal, agriculture and farming; and 6) Nueces River water quality improvement to support the watershed fisheries and recreation.
